WMCFL All Time League Cup Scorers Table

The League started back in 1979 with just six sides. Records of who won it only go back until 1982 and likewise, that's when we have records of who won the Cup as well.

I began to keep records of who scored in every game in the 2003/4 season and have preserved them in the public domain ever since.

Over the years, the main League Cup has taken different formats: We've had straight knock-outs and in the 2000s we had group phases, where clubs competed in groups giving them several matches before a straight knock-out in a last eight. Naturally, those players that played during the years when we had a group format feature highly in the table below. With the large influx of clubs in 2008 when we expanded to three divisions, it became more difficult to have a group phase and less of an issue, so we reverted to a standard format.

I've included those players that have scored ten or more goals.

It would have been great to have full records since the start of the competition but we have what we have. So the table below shows goals that have been scored in the League Cup from September 2003 until the Cup Final in May 2010.
