| Potted History: Birmingham International was formed out of Renewal Solihull. Set up by Richard Taylor to bring others into a Christian Environment based on sport. Many of the players are from Iran and Iraq who now live and work here in the West Midlands. Sprinkled with one or two players from Renewal Solihull, BIFC will give a good account of themselves in the forthcoming season. (says the manager!). May 2009: Inter June 2010: Sadly Inter didn't last long in the league and at the end of their second season, the team folded. They had a good couple of years. They narrowly missed out on the automatic promotion places finishing fourth in their debut season. They did make promotion with the expansion of the League and played in Division Two in 2009/10 finishing seventh out of the twelve teams. |
