Potted History: In 2006 a few players from the New Testament Church of God, Brookfield - “The ROCK” in Hockley, Birmingham decided they wanted to form a new team. They made enquiry but found they didn’t have enough support to start a new team. However in 2007 they found someone willing to be Manager and together they set the ball in motion. Whilst making enquiries they built relations with Mount Zion Community church in Aston who had similar ambitions. Out of this collaboration Rockmount United was born. This being an aspect of each church’s outreach ministry to men.
