Potted History: Sadly, St John's lasted just one year in WMCFL. They were a decent side who did alright, winning fifteen of their twenty-two matches. They missed out on automatic promotion by one place and could have gone up if they had stayed together. They were beaten into fourth by run-away leaders Junction Ten, Cup Finalists DC Dynamos and a late surge by Sporting Zion.

The team was formed mainly from players who left West Bromwich Beacons at the end of the 2008/9 season. We hope to see many of these players remain in WMCFL.
