Match Report received from Ashley Turner, All Saints Olympic

This mornings game saw us travel to Amblecote which ended in a 6-1 away win.
We started the game on the front foot looking to get the early lead, consecutive corners saw us take the lead when Ashley Turner crossed in for Greg Thornton to head home. All Saints Olympic soon made it 2-0 when a free kick was fumbled by the keeper for Daniel Stanton to tap in. A penalty for us a few moments later saw Nick Vaughan step up for his first goal of the season and make it 3-0 at Half-Time.

The second half saw the Saints continue to press and put the game to bed. A quick exchange of passes saw Greg Thornton run through one on one to collect his second of the game.
Amblecote replied to make it 4-1, before Daniel Stanton scored a further two goals to complete his hat trick. Joel Ormston saved a late penalty to keep the scoreline at 6-1 capping off a good away performance from the Saints.
