It was another slow start to our sixth WMCFL season with a heavy defeat against last season’s league and cup winners St Mary’s. We were still in the game until the hour mark when we conceded the second goal, after that it was all downhill for us. It’s true what they say when it’s about putting your chances away, well St Mary’s certainly did that very well leaving us reflecting what could have been.
Good luck to St Mary’s and well done to referee Neil Taylor and his two assistants who kept the game flowing.
We host Renewal Solihull next weekend searching for our first points of the season.
