Fortunately for us Chris Rogers had forgotten his sat nav, got lost and somehow turned up in the opposition six yard box to score his first goal in years. An excellent pass from Scott Tibbets put Luke Helsdon in for a smart finish on ten minutes and he got his second ten minutes later following up on a good strike from Adam Shorto. Halesowen then regrouped and started to apply pressure being denied only by the post and a superb double save by Rob Wood, whilst we contrived to miss two simple chances. Halesowen came out strongly in the second half and scored on the hour. The match turned on an excellent penalty save by Rob Wood on seventy minutes . Although we conceded a second goal on eighty minutes following constant pressure we weathered the storm and scored our fourth five minutes from time after Ash Hamer battled bravely to put Mark Sherriff clear to cross for Luke Green to head home a superb goal. It is always good to see Dave and his lads and we wish them well.
