Division Two Preview

Division Two moves into into its final week and 2 teams still have hopes of becoming Champions. Monyhull Church have looked front runners all season but Selly Oak Methodist are pushing them all the way. Whilst I have previously commented on Monyhull possibly matching St Andrews’ Netherton in achieving a 100 per cent record, that idea bit the dust when Selly Oak beat them a couple of weeks ago. Selly Oak have crept up unnoticed and like Monyhull have only been beaten once but they have drawn another game. Last weeks win over Dudley Lions meant Selly Oak are now guaranteed a minimum of 2nd place. They face Dudley again tomorrow and will be looking for a repeat of last weeks result over them. If they do this, then Monyhull will need to win their last match of the season and they must fancy their chances of sealing the title as they face Living Hope Church United who have only won 2 matches all season. Whilst Living Hope and Dudley Lions cannot improve their league positions I am sure both teams will give everything they have to try and end their seasons with a win.

Last week of the Prediction Challenge and it’s Ian Baker from Brierley Hill A.O.G who finishes the challenge off. I’ve absolutely no idea how it stands at the moment but I will get a final score this weekend.
