Due to time constraints,my preview will be very rapid this week.
1 Cup Quarter-Final left to play with Sheldon facing Place Of Refuge Community Church. I’m still tipping Sheldon to win but believe it will be by the odd goal.
I expect All Saints Olympic will beat Amblecote and move into 2nd place. Will they stay there? Probably not!
Clarendon should carry on their recent good run with a win over struggling Corinthians SK.
Rowley College vs Zion Athletic is an interesting one. Should Rowley win it will give them a 7 point gap over their opponents, something to aim at. Zion do have games in hand but could do with winning this one. I’m going for a Rowley win as I reckon Zion’s focus will be on next weeks semi’s.
I fully expect City Church to beat Sandwell United and distinguish any lingering relegation doubts.
Division 2 Champions, Chawn Hill Church, sign off their League season at home to Renewal Solihull who really need a win here to keep alive their promotion hopes. Chawn have only lost once in the League but I think that the 3 points will be whinging their way back to Solihull.
3rd placed Wolverhampton and Perton suffered a surprise defeat last week but should win against Selly Oak Methodist.
Charlemont Star, who have taken 4 points off the top 2 teams in the last two matches appear to be in good form and will beat Wollaston Free Athletic.
Rockmount’s surprise win last week makes this a funny one to predict. Was it a fluke result or have a couple of new additions made the difference? I’m going with the later and tip then to win against Darkhouse.
Division 3 takes a back seat with the Division 3 Cup Group games taking place.
Group ‘A’ sees a hastily arranged match between Saint Michael and Hawbush and Zion City taking on Living Hope Church. I’m going for Saint Michael and surprisingly Zion City to win their games.
Group ‘B’ has Dudley Lions facing Maple Leaf Rovers and Monyhull Church playing Pye Green Towers. I’m not expecting any surprises here and form dictates that Dudley Lions and Pye Green should win.
Apologies for the brief preview but my shift pattern and other family duties take precedent. Enjoy your football folks.
